Daylighting Innovations currently consists of Zack Rogers and a host of collaboration partners providing various levels of assistance. Staff and collaboration partners are enthusiastic individuals with a variety of sustainable construction and design experience and passionate about making a more sustainable world.

Zack is founder and president of Daylighting Innovations, LLC, a daylighting consultancy firm located in Lafayette, and co-founder and director of engineering of LightLouver, LLC, a daylighting product manufacturer located in Louisville. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, a LEED® (Building Design and Construction) Accredited Professional, and an active member of the Illumination Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) where he serves on several Daylighting Committees. He also serves on daylight related committees for the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS), the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC), the Attachments Energy Rating Council (AERC), and ASHRAE 189. He is a patent holder for the award winning LightLouver daylighting system and the main author of the award winning Sensor Placement + Optimization Tool (SPOT) software. He is a part-time adjunct professor at the University of Colorado in Boulder teaching an engineering course on Daylighting. He has published work on daylighting simulation techniques and daylighting metrics and speaks regularly on sustainability, daylighting design and photosensor-based lighting controls.
In his free time, Zack enjoys playing and coaching soccer, building things, playing music, snowboarding and just generally exploring the epic Colorado mountains.
